You Are Wrong If You Think Surgery Is The Only Way to Cure Endometriosis

In which tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus, an often painful disorder is called endometriosis. Outside your uterus, the endometrium grows. Your ovaries, bowel or the tissue lining your pelvis are most common places for the existence of endometriosis. Spread beyond your pelvic region may be rarely happen for endometrial tissue. There are many treatments for the disease, so you are wrong if you think surgery is the only way to cure endometriosis.

Common Endometriosis symptoms and signs may include:

Periods which are painful.
When having intercourse, there is pain.
When urinating or having bowel movements, there is pain.
Bleeding which is excessive.
Infertility.
Other symptoms.

Several explanations which are possible are included although the exact cause of endometriosis is not certain:
Menstruation which is retrograde.
Growth of cell which is embryonic.
Implantation of surgical scar. Endometrial cells may attach to a surgical incision after a surgery, such as a hysterectomy or C-section.
Transport of endometrial cells. Endometrial cells may transported by blood vessels or tissue fluid  system to other parts of the body.
Disorder of immune system. Endometrial tissue that's growing outside the uterus may unable to be recognized or destroyed by a problem with the immune system possiblely.
Usually treatment for endometriosis is medications or surgery. The severity of your signs and symptoms and whether you hope to become pregnant depend the approach you and your doctor choose.
Conservative treatment approaches are recommended by doctors first generally and opting for surgery as a last resort.

Pain medications


The nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ibuprofen or naproxen may be recommended by your doctor as over-the-counter pain reliever to help ease painful menstrual cramps. However, you may need to try another approach to manage your signs and symptoms if you find that taking the maximum dose doesn't provide full relief.

Hormone therapy

In reducing or eliminating the pain of endometriosis, supplemental hormones are sometimes effective. Endometrial implants are caused to be thicken, break down and bleed by the rise and fall of hormones during the menstrual cycle. new implants of endometrial tissue may be prevented and the growth of hormone medication may be slowed.

For endometriosis, however, hormonal therapy isn't a permanent fix. After stopping treatment, a recurrence of your symptoms is possible to be experienced by you.
