Why does A Woman Have Blocked Fallopian Tubes Without Induced Abortion?

There is a possibility that induced abortion may cause blocked fallopian tubes. In the process of abortion, if the operation is improper and the intrauterine infection happens after the procedure, the bilateral fallopian tubes may be infected, resulting in inflammation of the bilateral fallopian tubes. If the fallopian tubes are inflamed, it may cause the blockage of the bilateral fallopian tubes. However, some women have blocked fallopian tubes without ever having an induced abortion.

Blockage of fallopian tubes is a common and frequently-occurring disease among female infertility problems. Its incidence is very high, accounting for about 50% of all female infertility diseases. So, what causes blocked fallopian tubes? Below are possible reasons that may lead to blocked fallopian tubes.

1. Gynecological inflammation
Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can lead to partial or complete atresia of the end of the fallopian tubes that receives the egg, or adhesion of the fallopian tubes lining, narrowing or atresia of the lumen. Severe inflammation can cause the fallopian tube to lose its soft and peristaltic physiological properties to become rigid, twisted, and completely block the tubal cavity, ultimately making the patient infertile. Salpingitis can lead to adhesion of the narrowest part of the fallopian tubes and the fimbriated extremity, resulting in stenosis or complete atresia of the tubal cavity and infertility.

2. Appendicitis perforation
Women with a history of appendicitis perforation have an increased chance of having their fallopian tubes damaged. That is because the distance between the appendix and the fallopian tubes is very close. Therefore, the infection in the appendix can easily spread to the fallopian tubes, causing inflammation of the fallopian tubes and eventually the phenomenon of adhesion, blockage, and infertility.

3. Pelvic adhesion
This condition usually covers the ends of the ovaries and fallopian tubes or sticks the fallopian tubes and other tissues together. Especially for women who have had pelvic surgery, most of them will have adhesion problems.

4. Inflammation/adhesion caused by other surgical procedures
Tissue trauma caused by surgery can also lead to a pre-inflammatory state and even adhesion. The incidence of postoperative adhesion is about 75%. Laparoscopy cannot prevent the occurrence of sequelae of adhesions. The application of adhesion barriers (such as anti-adhesion membrane) can reduce the occurrence of adhesion by an average of 50%. The removal of adhesions will increase the rate of infertility.

Blocked fallopian tubes in women can impact reproductive capacity, which in turn affects the patient's family and marital life. What should female patients do to avoid such problems when fallopian tubes are blocked?

Herbal medicine treatment

If patients want to get rid of the trouble of blocked fallopian tubes as soon as possible, they can take herbal medicine orally. External application of herbs or iontophoresis can achieve a better therapeutic effect and basically will not have any adverse impact on the body. Patients can also take Fuyan Pill orally to treat blocked fallopian tubes.

Fuyan Pill has a broad-spectrum antibacterial property and has a miraculous effect of sterilizing, anti-inflammatory, and opening blocked fallopian tubes. Adherence to the three-month treatment can reduce or relieve the symptoms of gynecological diseases like blocked fallopian tubes and help patients to recover from the disease.

Maintain a clean and hygienic lifestyle

To prevent blocked fallopian tubes, the first thing to do is to pay attention to the patients' cleanliness. The patients should clean their genitals every day, frequently change their underwear, towels, washbasins, etc., and keep them separate from others; otherwise, it will be easy to cause cross-infection.

Appropriate diet and living habits

Poor diet or living habits may lead to blocked fallopian tubes. The patients should eat more healthy green fruits and vegetables and drink green tea to help void body oil. In addition, maintaining a standard rest time and a moderate amount of exercise have a specific effect on helping to reduce the blockage of the fallopian tubes.

Moderate sex life

Sexual life is a significant cause of female blocked fallopian tubes. During sexual life, the patients easily bring external bacteria and viruses into their vagina, causing blocked fallopian tubes. Experts recommend that men and women wash and maintain hygiene thoroughly before having sex so that they can keep the high quality of sex and prevent blocked fallopian tubes.
