Why Are My Fallopian Tubes Easily "Blocked"? How To Protect Them?

The fallopian tubes are the channels of fertility. Although they are short, they are very easily blocked. The degree of fallopian tubal blockage varies, generally categorized into three situations:

BlockedFallopianTubes

1. The fallopian tubes are partially obstructed but not completely blocked.

2. The fallopian tubes are blocked, with relatively minor damage, but most of them are still normal.

3. The fallopian tubes are completely blocked, and the damage is severe.

Why are the fallopian tubes so easily blocked? There are four main reasons:

1. Frequent Abortions

Much of the damage from frequent abortions is irreversible, hurting the uterus and causing blockage of the fallopian tubes. In particular, if you don't take proper care of your tubes after abortion, bacteria can enter your body and cause secondary infection to the tubes, which can easily lead to blockage.

2. Ignore Hygiene During Menstruation

Having intercourse during menstruation is very likely to cause bacteria to enter the pelvis, which can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, thus leading to tubal blockage.

3. Gynecological Inflammation

When gynecological inflammations such as pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, vaginitis, and salpingitis occur but are not promptly treated, or when the treatment is ineffective, and the condition persists due to prolonged exposure to inflammatory stimuli, the fallopian tubes can become congested and swollen, leading to the narrowing of the tubal lumen, which results in fallopian tube blockage.

4. Unclean Sex

Unclean sex increases the risk of various infectious diseases, such as sexually transmitted diseases, gynecological diseases, etc., secondary to inflammation of the fallopian tubes and blockage.

In addition, tuberculosis, pelvic surgery, endometriosis, appendicitis, etc., may cause secondary infection of the fallopian tubes, resulting in congestion, edema, and adhesion of the tubal walls, ultimately leading to tubal blockage.

The fallopian tube is the bridge linking the uterus and ovaries, which not only transports eggs, sperm, and fertilized eggs but also serves as the place of fertilization. Once acute inflammation, adhesion, obstruction, fluid accumulation, and other abnormalities occur in the fallopian tubes, it may affect the umbilical end of the fallopian tube in picking up eggs and transporting fertilized eggs into the uterine cavity to settle, leading to infertility.

Not only that, tubal blockage may also induce ectopic pregnancy. Therefore, to be well informed, women should know the measures to protect against tubal blockage in their daily lives.

First, women can check the fallopian tubes through the three examination methods of tubal patent test: liquid instillation, hysterosalpingography, and HyCoSy. The HSG is commonly used in clinical practice.

Secondly, the patient undergoing hysterosalpingography to diagnose the symptoms of tubal blockage should take active treatment measures according to the cause of the disease to avoid delay.

Blockage triggered by gynecological inflammation causes can be treated with Fuyan Pill. Composed of more than 50 kinds of pure natural herbs, the medicine effectively removes heat, detoxifies the body, promotes blood circulation, and removes blood stasis, which can help patients with inflammation.

Patients with severe symptoms or even infertility can choose laparoscopy in the uterus to unblock the fallopian tubes. Through hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, the tubal intracavity is directly examined to assess the function of picking up and transporting fertilized eggs and decide on the treatment plan.

In daily life, women should take care of their bodies, try to avoid frequent abortions; pay attention to personal hygiene, especially the vulva, and do not share toiletries, etc.; changing underwear and wearing breathable cotton underwear is better; adjust dietary habits and eat less or not eat cold and spicy food, especially during menstruation, avoid cold and spicy food.

When women are in air-conditioned rooms for a long time in summer or when the weather is cold in winter, they should keep their abdomens warm to avoid the waist and abdomen from getting cold. Women can also do more exercise. Regular aerobic exercise benefits the body, reducing the probability of suffering from gynecological diseases and improving women's body immunity.
