Does heavy bleeding and clots mean I have PID?

Heavy periods are common. In most cases no cause can be found. In some cases a cause is found such as endometriosis, fibroids, and other conditions (listed below). In most cases treatment is effective by using medication to reduce bleeding, or by surgery. There are many causes that would lead to heavy bleeding and heavy clots. Pelvic infections could be one of the commonest reasons.

What could be the courses of heavy menstrual?

There are different infections that can sometimes lead to heavy bleeding developing. For example, chlamydia can occasionally cause heavy bleeding. Since chlamydia could lead to heavy bleeding and clots, there are increasing people worrying whether PID could cause heavy bleeding and clots too.A chemical called prostaglandin may play a part. The amount of prostaglandin in the blood may be different in women with heavy periods. The lining of your uterus is more sensitive to the effects of prostaglandin, which results in heavier periods. In women who have PID, the blood vessels that supply blood to the lining of the womb are larger (dilated), which then results in the blood loss being heavier. This means PID could also lead to heavy bleeding and colts.

Other causes include:

1.Fibroids. These are benign (non-cancerous) growths in the muscle of the uterus. They often cause no problems, but sometimes cause symptoms such as heavy   periods.

2.Other conditions of the uterus, such as endometriosis, infections or polyps, may lead to heavy periods. Cancer of the lining of the uterus (endometrial cancer) is a very rare cause.

3.Hormonal problems. Periods can be irregular and sometimes heavy if you do not ovulate every month.

4.The intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD or coil) sometimes causes heavy periods. However, a special hormone-releasing IUCD called the intrauterine system (IUS) can actually treat heavy periods.

5.Warfarin or similar medicines interfere with blood clotting. If you take one of these medicines for other conditions, it may have a side-effect of heavier periods.

6.Blood clotting disorders are rare causes of heavy bleeding. Other symptoms are also likely to develop, such as easy bruising or bleeding from other parts of the body.

Untreated heavy or prolonged bleeding can stop you from living your life to the fullest. If you have a bleeding problem, it could lead to other health problems. So if you have heavy bleeding and clots, you should get the treatments immediately. Fuyan Pill is an herbal medicine, which has good effects on treating gynecological diseases that would lead to heavy bleeding and clots. Fuyan Pill could eliminate inflammation, kill bacteria, clear heat, and promote the blood circulation.
