Women's Health Care-Tight clothes can cause the fall off of endometrium

Endometrium refers to a layer of mammal womb. As it has reaction to both estrogen and progesterone, it can have remarkable change along with sexual cycle (estrus cycle, menstrual cycle). Recent studies by foreign experts found that wearing tight clothes during menstruation also can lead to the fall off of endometrium.

Endometrium is characterized by restlessness, which is active on one hand and can also grow in other parts of the body on the other hand. By this procedure, endometriosis is formed along with menstrual bleeding periodically. If the extravasated blood is not able to flow out, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, menstrual disorders, or even infertility can be caused. If it develops within the ovary, the extravasated blood can form hygromata. The hygromata may rupture when it enlarges to certain degree, which can result in abdominal cavity hemorrhage or life-threatening.

The peritoneal mesothelium cell may be evolved into endometrial cells on its own, but most of ectopic endometrium falls off from uterine and the reasons are various. For example, during artificial abortion surgery, the pressure in uterine cavity are negative pressure and it may become positive pressure soon when outside air enters immediately. At this time, dynamic endometrial debris in the uterus is likely to backflow into the abdominal cavity through the fallopian tube.

According to this principle, wearing tight clothes can cause increase of abdominal pressure and the menstrual blood can backflow into the abdominal cavity through the fallopian tube when tight clothes are taken off causing decrease of pressure. This theory has been confirmed by lots of tests. For example, a catheter and micro sensor are used to measure the gradient change of the fallopian tube and intra-abdominal pressure. A tracer is placed in the cervical canal to measure the flow velocity and flow rate of the countercurrent blood through flashing images of the uterus and fallopian tubes.

Statistics show that women in developed countries like to wear tight clothes more. And the incidence of endometriosis is significantly higher than those women in developing countries who don’t wear tight clothes.

For nearly 30 years, there are over 5000 endometriosis reports in total in developed countries, among which United States occupies half of the data. At the same time, only 4 endometriosis cases are reported in over 20,000 medical journal articles in India. And the experts believe that it has great relation with the fact that Indian women don’t wear tight clothes.

Consequently, it is suggested to wear less tight clothes especially during menstruation. Besides, the women during menstruation should keep stable emotion and avoid panic stimulation so as not to cause the change of the endocrine and the backflow of menstrual blood. In addition, sexual intercourse and some gynaecological tests should be avoided during menstruation. What’s more, try to keep a regular diet and rest and accept suitable birth control measures in daily life.

In the end, it’s suggested to accept treatments as soon as possible for those endometriosis patients. The treatments include antibiotics, laparascopy, herbal medicine, etc. However, antibiotics can’t relieve all the symptoms caused by endometriosis and laparascopy can cause physical damage to some extent, which has been confirmed by lots of clinical cases. So the best treatment may be herbal medicine, like Fuyan Pill which is made from Chinese herbs without any side effects and drug resistance.
